"Never Can Say Goodbye" was an early disco hit for singer Gloria Gaynor. Appearing on her album of the same name, the song was written by actor Clifton Davis (Amen). Back in 1974, the song was the first #1 song on Billboard magazine's Disco Action chart, spending four weeks there.
