"Up Jumped The Devil" was a club hit for John Davis and the Monster Orchestra. Appearing on the act's second album Up Jumped The Devil, the song was written and produced by Davis, a former member of the funk group MFSB. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40, the single peaked at #5 in 1977.
