"Shame Shame Shame" was a big club hit for Shirley and Company. Appearing on their sole album Shame Shame Shame, the song was written and produced by Sylvia Robinson. On Billboard magazine's Disco Action chart, the single spent four weeks at #1 in 1975. It also reached #1 on their R&B chart and #12 on the pop Hot 100.
