"Hi-Jack" was a huge club hit for jazz flute player Herbie Mann. Appearing on his album Discotheque, the remake of the pre-disco nugget from the Spanish band Barrabas features vocals from Cissy Houston (yes, Whitney's mom). On Billboard magazine's Disco Action chart, the single spent three weeks at #1, while reaching #14 on the American pop chart.
