Disco Dessert 10/11/20 - "I'm Coming Out" from Diana Ross...

 

 

"I'm Coming Out" was a big club and radio hit for Diana Ross. Appearing on her album Diana, the song was written and produced by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards of the band Chic. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top 100 chart, the Diana album was listed as a single entry, with "Upside Down" and "I'm Coming Out" listed as key cuts. The record spent five weeks at #1 there in 1980.

In 2018, new remixes of "I'm Coming Out", mixed with "Upside Down" helped the song come back to the Dance chart, going all the way to #1 again...
