"Bourgie, Bourgie" was an underground club favorite from the Motown songwriting team of Ashford & Simpson. The instrumental appeared on their album Send It, and although it never charted in the U.S., the track was a huge DJ fave, especially at the Paradise Garage, where the late great Larry Levan remixed it into six minutes of heaven.
