"Try Me, I Know We Can Make It" was a big club hit for the "queen of disco", Donna Summer. Appearing on her album A Love Trilogy, the almost eighteen-minute suite was written by Donna with producers Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte, and then edited for the single release. On Record World magazine's Disco File Top-20, the song spent three weeks at #1, while on the official American pop chart, the Hot 100, in Billboard magazine, the song stalled out at #80.
