Disco Dessert 1/28/20 - "Nice and Slow" from Jesse Green...

"Nice & Slow" was a disco hit for reggae performer Jesse Green. Born in Jamaica and once a member of Jimmy Cliff's band, the song was written by producer Ken Gibson and was the title track to his debut album in 1976. On Record World magazine's Disco File Top-20 chart, "Nice & Slow" peaked at #3. While it never made the pop or soul charts in Billboard, the track was a moderate success in England, cresting at #17.
