"Love Injection" was a club hit for the studio band Trussel, best known for being the back-up group for Evelyn "Champagne" King at the end of the 1970s. Appearing as the title track of their sole album Love Injection, the song was written by member Hannon Lane and Ronald Smith. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top 100, the record just missed the top ten at #11, while spending a hefty 23 weeks on the chart.
