"Put Your Feet To The Beat" was a club hit for the disco act the Ritchie Family, whose member completely were shuffled out from the original incarnation of the "Family" by the time of this song. Appearing on their first album on Casablanca Records, Bad Reputation, the single climbed to #14 on Billboard magazine's Disco/Dance tracks chart in 1979. However, the album was their first to miss the sales chart in America.
