Disco Dessert 2/18/19 - "Panic" from French Kiss...

"Panic" was a single from the disco trio French Kiss, who were three New Yorkers - Lamar Stevens, "Muffi" Durham, and Yvette Johnson, who were put together by French-Moroccan producer/musician Michel "Simon" Soussan. Appearing on their sole album Panic, the track rose to #23 on Billboard magazine's Disco/Dance Tracks Chart in 1979. Soussan had been known (rather infamously) in the British "Northern Soul" style, which does shine through on this number. It would be their sole charting song.
