Disco Dessert 2/12/19 - "No, No Joe" from Silver Convention...

"No, No Joe" was a single from the German disco act Silver Convention, a trio of Austrian Penny McLean, Jackie Carter from Mauritius, and German Linda G. Thompson. Appearing on the act's second album Get Up & Boogie, the song was written by Michael Kunze (as Stephen Prager) and Sylvester Levay. In 1976, "No, No Joe", listed with "San Francisco Hustle" from the album, climbed to #14 on Billboard magazine's Disco/Dance tracks chart. It also climbed to #34 on their R&B chart and #60 on the American pop Hot 100.
