Disco Dessert 2/4/19 - "Dance The Night Away" from Carol Williams...

"Dance The Night Away" was a single from disco artist Carol Williams, who grew up in the North Jersey town of Montclair, NJ. She started her career on the legendary disco label Salsoul, but this track is the first from her second album Reflections Of Carol Williams which was on the local dance label Quality Records. The song, written by Carol and Daverne Williams and produced by Tony Valor, never hit the Disco/Dance chart in Billboard magazine, but is still considered an underground classic, and it's a personal favorite of mine.
