"The Chicago Theme (Love Loop)" was a single from jazz-soul flautist Hubert Laws. Appearing on his album The Chicago Theme, the song, written by Bob James, climbed to #8 on Billboard magazine's Disco/Dance Tracks chart in 1975. On Billboard's R&B chart, where his siblings Ronnie, Eloise, and Debra also had hits, the flute-based instrumental made it to #53.
