"Forbidden Love" was a hit single for Swedish model turned singer Madleen Kane. It was the "A-Side" to her second charting 12" single (with "You and I" on the flipside), and peaked at #3 on Billboard's Disco/Dance chart in 1979. It appeared on her second album on Warner Brothers Records, Cheri. She went on to top the list in 1981 with "You Can".
