The Crown Heights Affair was a disco and soul group that named themselves from a section of their home of Brooklyn, where they recorded an album for RCA before switching to Dee-Lite Records, home of Kool & The Gang. There they released their sophomore effort, Dreaming A Dream, which sported the title cut which would go on to be their biggest hit, reaching #5 on Billboard's R&B chart, just missing the pop top-40 at #43, and spending a week at #1 on the Disco/Dance chart in 1975...
