"Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah)" was the debut single for one of the biggest and most influential acts in disco, the band Chic. Led by guitarist Nile Rodgers with Bernard Edwards, Tony Thompson, and singers Alfa Anderson and Luci Martin, the group spent eight weeks at #1 on Billboard's Disco/Dance Chart with the album Chic charting featuring this song, "Everybody Dance", and "You Can Get By". "Dance, Dance, Dance" also reached #6 on both the pop and R&B charts as well as hitting the same rank in the UK and Canada. Nile just released a new album, It's About Time, under the Chic name, which includes guests like Lady Gaga and Elton John.
