Aussie Sweep: September 5, 2012...
Aussie Sweep is back, with the new singles selling down under, according to their official charts. This week Guy Sebastian's "Battle Scars" featuring Lupe Fiasco stays on top for a third week.
There's only one debut in the top half of the chart this week, and that's British singer Rita Ora, who was born in Kosovo, and follows up her Aussie top-10 hit "How We Do (Party)" with "R.I.P." featuring rapper Tinie Tempah, who has had four top-40 hits here, the biggest being his stint supporting Labrinth on the #11 "Earthquake". The two pair up on "R.I.P.", which has already topped the chart in the UK...

Indie rock group Evermore got their start in New Zealand, and topped the Aussie chart in 2006 with "Light Surrounding You". They return at #58 with the title track from their upcoming album, Follow The Sun...
London-born Marvin Priest lives in Australia now, and his debut single, "Own This Club", went top-10 here last year. His latest, "Are You Ready", comes in at #59...
Lastly, British R&B/pop singer Taio Cruz toured with Pitbull in Australia this month, and he's had a #1 single here with "Dynamite" in 2010. Taio enters the chart down under at #72 with a song that will only be on the American version of his album TY.0. It's "Fast Car"....
