Disco Dessert 11/8/20 - "Disco Party" from the Trammps...

 

 

"Disco Party" was a club hit for the band the Trammps. Written by T.G. Conway and Bruce Gray, the song appeared on their album Where The Happy People Go. On Record World magazine's Disco File Top-20 chart, the album charted as a single entry (besides the title track, which on its own topped the list for two weeks). The entire record, with "Disco Party" listed as the key cut, spent five more weeks at #1 in 1976.
