Disco Dessert 11/12/20 - "Loose Lucy" from Paul Sabu...

 

 

"Loose Lucy" was a club hit for singer/songwriter Paul Sabu. Appearing on his debut album Sabu, the song was written and produced by Sabu, the son of actors Selar Sabu and Marilyn Cooper. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top 100 chart, the Sabu album was listed as a single entry, with "Loose Lucy", "We're Gonna Rock", and "Rockin' And Rollin'" listed as key cuts. The record peaked at #9, spending six months (24 weeks) on the list.
