"I Don't Want Nobody Else (To Dance With You)" was a club hit for singer/musician/producer Narada Michael Walden. Appearing on his album Awakening, the song was written by Walden, who produced it with disco heavyweight Patrick Adams. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-80 chart, the single peaked at #64 in 1979, while also climbing to #9 on their R&B chart and #47 on the pop Hot 100. Walden would go on to more fame producing big hits for Aretha Franklin ("Freeway of Love"), Whitney Houston ("How Will I Know"), and Starship ("Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now"), among others.
