Disco Dessert 11/20/20 - "Love Express" by the Michael Zager Band...

 

 

 

"Love Express" was a big club hit for the Michael Zager Band, formed and named by the former member of the rock group Ten Wheel Drive. Appearing on his album Let's All Chant, the song was produced by Zager, who wrote it with Alvin Fields and Betsy Durkin Matthes. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40 chart, the song was listed with the "A-Side" of the 12" single, "Let's All Chant". They spent a week there at #1 in 1978.
