"Gotta Get It" was a club hit for the Tony Valor Sounds Orchestra, named for the producer who put the act together. Appearing on their first album Gotta Get It, the song was produced by Valor, who wrote it with Denny Marouse. Tom Moulton remixed the track as well. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40, the single peaked at #40 in 1976.
