"Glide" was a radio and club hit for the funk band from Portland, Oregon, Pleasure. Appearing on their fifth album Future Now, the song was written by the group's bass player Nathaniel Phillips and percussionist Bruce Smith. On Billboard's Disco Top-100 chart, the song peaked at #75 in 1979, while rising to #10 on their R&B chart.
