"Kiss You All Over" was a club hit for the late soul singer Phyllis Hyman. Appearing on her album Somewhere In My Lifetime, the track written by Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn and produced by Theodore Life was a cover of the #1 pop hit from crossover country band Exile. On Billboard's Disco Top-80 chart, the single listed both "Kiss You All Over" and its B-side "So Strange", and peaked at #75 in 1979.
