Disco Dessert 8/4/19 - "Pilot Error" from Stephanie Mills...

"Pilot Error" was a club hit for singer and stage actress Stephanie Mills. Appearing on her album Merciless, the song was written by Peter Kingsbery of the indie pop band Cock Robin. On Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Top 80 chart, the song climbed to #3 in 1983, two notches higher than her classic from 1980, "Never Knew Love Like This Before". It also peaked at #12 on the R&B chart as well.
