"In Hollywood (Everybody Is A Star)" was a club hit for the iconic camp disco act the Village People. Appearing on their self-titled debut album, the song was written by Jacques Morali, Henri Belolo, and Phil Hurtt. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40, the whole Village People album charted as one entry, where it spent seven weeks at #1 in 1977.
