"It Seems To Hang On" was a single from married singer/songwriting legends Ashford & Simpson. Appearing on their album Is It Still Good To Ya, the song was written and produced by the pair. Surprisingly even though the disco-themed jam went to #2 on Billboard magazine's R&B chart for five weeks, the single didn't reach either the pop or dance charts then.
