"Enigma" was a club hit for eccentric French singer and Salvador Dali muse Amanda Lear. Appearing on her album Sweet Revenge, the song was written by Lear with longtime collaborator Rainer Pietsch. Although the track never made the disco charts in America, it was a top ten success in Italy and Belgium, reaching the top ten on the singles charts in both countries in 1978.
