"Love Is You" was a club hit for the disco singer from Montclair, New Jersey, Carol Williams. Appearing on her album 'Lectric Lady on the Salsoul Label, the song was written by Vince Montana Jr and Ronnie Walker. As the "B-side" to the 12" single "Come Back", the pair of songs climbed to #29 on the National Disco Action Top-40 in 1977. In 2000, "Love Is You" was sampled to provide the base for DJ Spiller and Sophie Ellis-Bexter's "Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)", which topped the British singles charts and went to #3 on the American dance club play list.
