Hey folks, we're at the "hump" of today's "chart sweeps" taking in the songs reaching the radio charts in Billboard magazine, and now I'm at the newest on R&B radio...

On the main R&B/HipHop Airplay chart, J. Cole remains at #1 for a second week with "Power Trip"...

Atlanta native Desquantes Lamar, who records under the moniker Rich Homie Quan, has the top entry at #39 with "Type Of Way"...

 Another Atlanta rapper, Young Dro, topped the R&B chart back in 2006 with "Shoulder Lean". He's back at #44 with "FDB"...(NSFW)

Blue-eyed soulster Robin Thicke is in at #49 with the ultra-smooth "For The Reset Of My Life"...

The last entry at #50 is veteran R&B singer Ronald Isley with "Dinner And A Movie". Fun fact: he was right next to me at the St. Louis airport going through security. Ah, brushes with greatness (of course I was too chickenshit to say anything)...His first R&B chart appearance was way back in 1962 with "Twist And Shout" with the Isley Brothers...

Meanwhile, on the older-skewing Adult R&B panel, Alicia Keys and Maxwell reclaim the top spot for a second non-consecutive week with "Fire We Make"...

The top debut at #31 marks the return of brother act K-Ci and JoJo with "Knock It Off". It's their first to reach any R&B chart in eleven years...

Amel Larrieux enters at #32 with her newest, "Afraid". Pop audiences may recognize her from her lead stint with Groove Theory ("Tell Me")...it's my "Soul Pick of the Week"...

Donell Jones comes in at #34 with "Beautiful". It follows his top-20 "Forever"...
