Kraut Sweep: July 30, 2013...

It's time to cross over into Germany to sample the songs making their official top-100 sales chart this week, as Swedish DJ A-lister Avicii spends a second week at #1 with "Wake Me Up"...

The top debut of the week at #19 is by German rapper Shindy, who gets his first top-40 hit as a lead artist with "Stress ohne Grund" ("Stress For No Reason") featuring fellow hiphop artist (and fellow hunkiness) Bushido...(NSFW German-style)...

German band Saltatio Mortis (Latin for "Dance of Death"), who perform the mix of heavy metal and medieval music called "medieval metal", arrive at #40 with "Wachstum über alles" ("Growth Across All").

French DJ/producer David Guetta returns at #46 with "Ain't A Party" featuring Glowinthedark and Harrison...(NSFW)

Justin Timberlake comes in at #52 with his neo-disco single "Take Back The Night" from part 2 of his upcoming 20/20 Experience...

British singer Olly Murs enters at #59 with "Dear Darlin'"....

From the German movie Systemfehler - Wenn Inge tanzt ("System Error - When Inge Dances"), about a band whose guitarist is injured before their big break. The title song (and plot point) from the movie arrives at #65...It's my "German Pick of the Week" (and the video is pretty cool)...

The last entry at #88 is Shindy and Bushido again with "Springfield". They're both from the #1 album in Germany, Shindy's NWA...
