Today's Song of the Day is by the Detroit new wave band the Romantics, who made it big in 1983 with the top-3 pop hit "Talking In Your Sleep". They followed it up with another band-written power-pop rocker, "One In A Million"...

"One In A Million" brought the band their second and final top-40 hit in the US, while reaching #22 on the rock radio chart.

The band would go and release one more record, Rhythm Romance, which would spawn a minor pop/rock hit with "Test Of Time" and a club hit with "Mystified" before going on hiatus with management issues.  They regrouped in the late 90s, and perform on tour periodically.
