This week's "robbed hit" is by one of the biggest rock bands that ever were, the Rolling Stones, who kicked off promotion of their Undercover album with a very experimental and vaguely political rock track "Undercover Of the Night". That single made the top-10, but faded pretty fast from radio. For the follow-up, the group went more bare-bones with the barroom rock of "She Was Hot". Like the previous single, the video was directed by Julien Temple, and starred Anita Morris, a stage and screen actress best known for her turn as Carla in the musical Nine...

While "She Was Hot" was another big hit on rock radio, reaching #4 on the format chart in Billboard, the record stalled just below the top-40 on the pop chart (ironically underperforming 1980's "She Was Cold")....
