Dance Sweep: December 22, 2012...


It's time to wrap up today's "chart sweeps" of the latest songs to make the music charts in Billboard magazine with the newest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio.

On the DJ-polled Hot Dance Club Play chart, Dave Aude' climbs to the top spot with "Something For The Weekend" featuring Luciana. It's his fourth #1 hit as a lead artist.

The top debut at #34 is British vocal group the Wanted, with "I Found You". The boys topped this chart back in July with "Chasing The Sun"...

It was only a matter of time since Adele's "Skyfall" would get the remix treatment, as the song jumps on the club chart at #39...


Swedish EDM/pop duo Icona Pop debut at #48 with their first single, "I Love It" featuring Charlie XCX. The song already is a top-10 hit in Austria, New Zealand, and their homeland...


The final entry at #49 is the second single from the Pet Shop Boys' ethereal new album, Elysium, "Leaving". It follows "Winner", which made the top-20 here earlier this year...



Meanwhile, over on the radio-monitored Dance Airplay/Mixshow chart, the Swedish House Mafia's "Don't You Worry Child" spends a seventh week at #1.

Entering at #18 is the god-awful combo of will.i.am and Britney Spears on "Scream & Shout"...


..and coming in at #23 is rapper Ludacris with David Guetta and Usher providing most of the heft of "Rest Of My Life"...



Lastly, over on the Global Dance chart, which tracks dance songs' popularity around the world, SHM's "Don't You Worry Child" hangs on to #1 for an eleventh non-consecutive week...

The top entry here is British boy-band One Direction with their US top-10 club hit "Live While We're Young" which is at #26...


 Finally entering this list at #32 is the long-running rock/pop hit by British newcomer Alex Clare, "Too Close"...


Bobby Vena & Andy Murphy debut at #35 with "Let's Go All In" featuring Livingstone...


the Glamrock Brothers pop at #37 with their remake of "Push The Feeling On 2012" featuring the original artists the Nightcrawlers...


The final entry at #38 is British singer Ellie Goulding with "Anything Could Happen"...
