And just in time for the novelty Christmas rush, Muhammad Shahid Nazir, billed as the "One Pound Fish Man", swims in at #47 with "One Pound Fish". The Pakistani-born Brit was discovered naturally singing at a local fish market.

Rod Stewart jingles in at #51 with his version of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas". It's a benefit single to fight teenage cancer...

Katherine Crowe debuts at #64 with "Smile". The singer, who is fighting terminal breast cancer, has a groundswell of support to make her the "Christmas #1"..(it's also available in the States)..

Another charity record that arrives at #78 is "Caden's Song (My First Christmas)" by David Beggan & Union Station. Caden, David's son, died of meningococcal septicaemia in November, and this record benefits the Yorkhill Hospital in Glasgow Scotland that cared for the boy...

California rock group Haim are at #81 with "Don't Save Me". They are up for the prestigious 2013 BBC Sound Of 2013 poll...

English indie-rockers The Courteeners enter at #82 with "Lose Control". "Not Nineteen Forever" went to #19 for them in 2008...
