Aussie Sweep: December 12, 2012...

I'm ready to sample the latest songs making their way on to the official music sales chart in Australia this week. The f*cking awesome "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis with Wanz bargains up a second week at #1.

The Justice Crew, who won on Australia's Got Talent in 2010, score themselves the highest debut of the week at #18 with "Best Night". It follows their first chart-topper "Boom Boom" from earlier this year....

American rapper 50 Cent cashes in at #33 with "My Life" featuring Adam Levine and Eminem. So far, Fiddy's had only one #1 hit here, his breakthrough single "In Da Club"...(NSFW)

Chris Brown arrives at #44 with "Don't Judge Me". Breezy has topped the Australian pop chart twice, with his debut "Run It" and "No Air" with Jordin Sparks...

The final debut is by the artists in the #1 spot, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and I'm totally stoked that "Same Love" featuring Mary Lambert is reaching an Australian audience as that country is wrestling with marriage equality. The ally anthem is in at #65..
