Soul Sweep: July 14, 2012...


Time now for part three of today's "chart sweeps" of Billboard magazine's weekly radio and sales lists, thanks for droppin' by. This time out it's the new songs making the R&B/HipHop and Adult R&B charts.

Over on the main R&B/HipHop chart, the highest debut of by Atlanta-area rapper Future (pictured above), who comes in at #74 with the fifth charting song from his debut album, Pluto, called "Turn On The Lights"....

and at #88 is the newest from Alicia Keys, who is back with a new single that sounds a lot more dance-oriented than her previous work, with husband Swizz Beatz-produced "New Day"...


Hip-Hop DJ of the moment in Miami DJ Khaled comes in at #90 with the second song previewing his upcoming set Kiss The Ring. Featuring Kanye West and Rick Ross, it's "I Wish You Would"...(NSFW)


Meanwhile, over on the Adult R&B radio list, the two debuts come over from the main chart. First off, at #34, is singer Leah LaBelle with "Sexify". She finished twelfth on the third season of American Idol...


and at #38 is gospel singer Marvin Sapp with his latest, "My Testimony"..
