Brit Sweep: July 1, 2012...
The weekend's almost over, and it's time for a sampling of the new music selling across the Atlantic in England this week on the Official UK charts.
The top debut comes in right at the top - and the #1 goes to will.i.am, who's riding on the exposure of being a mentor on the Voice UK, with help from Dutch singer Eva Simons on "This Is Love"...well at least is isn't the musical abortion that "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)" was...

Coming in at #3 is Chris Brown, with his latest, "Don't Wake Me Up"...um, it took eleven people to write this song?
Arriving at #12 is a song that already has been a top-5 hit in Germany, Taio Cruz featuring Pitbull on "There She Goes"...
Olympic fever is getting started, as the official single of the 2012 London Games pops in at #25. It's Muse, with "Survival", which I at first said "an old song?", but no that was "Survival". Or "Uprising". Whatever.
Coming in at #53 is rockers Linkin Park with "Burn It Down"...
And by coincidence, courtesy of it playing on the England vs Italy match in the Euro 2012 soccer game, American duo Us debut at #70 with an acoustic version of Linkin Park's "In The End"...
and at #100 is the second single from the band at #2 in the UK and the US, Maroon5 with "One More Night"...
And to all a good night....
