Kraut Sweep: July 2, 2013...

I'm back for this week's autobahn into the German charts, sampling the records making the country's top-100 as Robin Thicke hangs on to #1 for a third week with "Blurred Lines"...

The top entry at #32 is British rapper Dizzee Rascal (one of my favorite hiphop artists) along with Robbie Williams on "Goin' Crazy". It's Dizzee's highest rank here so far...

The C.G. Project featuring EbGb and Carmen Geiss co-opt Shakira's "Wherever Whenever" for "My City Miami" at #44...

DJ and 1/3 of the Swedish House Mafia Sebastian Ingrosso comes in at #90 with "Reload" with Tommy Trash and John Martin...

The final entry of the week at #96 is British singer Olly Murs with "Army of Two". Olly topped the German chart in 2012 with "Heart Skips A Beat"..

That's it for this week's (not-so-German) recap...I'll be back tomorrow with another Song of the Day, 6 of the 60s, and this week's Aussie Sweep. Auf Weidersehen!
