Dance Sweep: July 13, 2013...

We're up to the final part of today's five-part "chart sweeps" sampling the song making the charts in Billboard magazine, and now it's time for the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio.

On the DJ-polled Hot Dance Club Play chart, after scoring four #1 singles with The Scene, Selena Gomez gets her first "solo" #1 dance hit with "Come & Get It"...

The top entry at #42 is singer Duncan Morley with "If Time Runs Out"...

Strutting in at #43 is the legend herself, Cher, with her new single, "A Woman's World", which is a sure lock to become her next #1 dance hit....why pop radio is scoffing her I have no clue (and why aren't the GLBT community buying this!)...

The last new entry on the club chart at #50 is producer/musician/remixer Vinny Vero along with the Drop Out Orchestra with "Be Free With Your Love".which is my "Dance Pick Of The Week"...show some love and pick it up!

Meanwhile, on the radio-monitored Hot Dance Airplay/Mixshow chart, Daft Punk commands the lead for a seventh week with "Get Lucky"...

Swedish DJ Avicii is in at #18 with "Wake Me Up!" featuring Aloe Blacc on vocals...

Chicago EDM master Kaskade returns at #21 with his latest, Atmosphere. He's also at #15 with "No One Knows Who We Are"...

The final entry at #22 is alt-pop duo Capital Cities with "Safe And Sound"...

That's a wrap for today's "Chart Sweeps"....Tomorrow I'll bring you the new albums making the charts, as well as another Song of the Day.. goodnight!
