"Love Do Me Right" was a club hit for the rock band who turned to disco Rockin' Horse. Appearing on their sole album Rockin' Horse, the song was written by the group's guitarist/singer Lenny Macaluso and produced by John Lombardo. On Record World magazine's Disco File Top-20 chart, the single peaked at #9 in 1975, while it "bubbled under" the pop Hot 100 chart in Billboard magazine at #104.
