"(Dance To) Freestyle Rhythm" was a club hit for the New York-based band Mantus. Appearing on their debut album Midnight Energy, the song was written by the group with produced Will Crittenden. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40, the single peaked at #34 in 1979.
