Disco Dessert 9/16/22 - "One Man" by Chanelle...

 

 

"One Man" was a big club hit for signer Chanelle (Munford). Released as a stand-alone single, the song was written by Chanelle with Roland Clark and David Shaw, with the latter producing with Chris Herbert, Josh Milan, and Kevin Hedge all of the group Blaze. The remix on the track was done by Frankie Knuckles and David Morales. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single spent three weeks at #2 in 1989.
