"Don't Let Go" was a club hit for singer/entertainer Tony Orlando. Appearing on his self-titled first solo album after the break-up of Tony Orlando & Dawn, the song is a disco remake of a 50's hit for Roy Hamilton written by Jesse Stone. This version, produced by Jerry Wexler and Barry Beckett and remixes by Jimmy Simpson, came out a year before Isaac Hayes' disco cover. On Billboard magazine's National Disco Action Top-40, the single peaked at #27 in 1978.
