"Just That Type Of Girl" was a club and urban radio hit for the R&B trio Madame X. Appearing on their debut (and only) album Madame X, the song was produced by Bernadette Cooper of the group Klymaxx, who wrote the track with Cornelius Mims and John Bokowski. The song was featured in the Whoopi Goldberg movie Fatal Beauty. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, the single peaked at #7 in 1987, while reaching #4 on their R&B Singles chart.
