Disco Dessert 9/19/22 - "Make Room" by Fad Gadget...

 

 

"Make Room" was a club hit for the British synthpop artist Frank Tovey, who records under the moniker Fad Gadget. Released as a stand-alone single, the song was produced by Tovey. who wrote the track with Pete Balmer. On Billboard magazine's Disco Top-100, the single peaked at #64 in 1981. Notably, Fad Gadget was the first act signed to the nascent Mute Label, who went on to great heights with Depeche Mode and Erasure.
