DIsco Dessert 3/6/22 - "History" by Mai Tai...

 

 

"History" was a big club and international hit for the Dutch vocal group Mai Tai. Appearing on their debut album Mai Tai, the song was written and produced by Eric Van Tijn and Jochem Fluitsma. On Billboard magazine's Dance/Disco Club Play chart, the single peaked at #3 in 1985, while going to #37 on the R&B chart. It also made it to #8 on the British Singles chart.
