"Reaction" was a club hit for singer and eldest Jackson child Rebbie Jackson. Appearing on her second album Reaction, the song was written and produced by Bernard Jackson (no relation), David Townsend (of the group Surface). and David Conley, all of the band Surface. On Billboard magazine's Hot Dance/Disco Club Play chart, the single peaked at #15 in 1986, while climbing to #16 on their R&B Singles list.
