Disco Dessert 3/17/22 - "Obsession" by Xymox...

 

 

"Obsession" was a club hit for the Dutch group Xymox. Appearing on their third album Twist Of Shadows, the song was written by members Ronny Moorings and Anka Wolbert. On Billboard magazine's Dance Club Play chart, "Obsession" was listed along with the single's B-side "Hitchhiker's Dance Guide". The record peaked there at #12 in 1989 while also rising to #16 on the Alternative Rock radio chart in America.
